About Farm.House

Farm.House is a publication for people drawn to the small-farm life — whether you're growing tomatoes on a balcony, running a 200-acre CSA, or just dreaming about a weekend on someone else's farm.

What we cover

Modern homesteading. Farm stays and agritourism. The business of small farming. Sustainable rural living. We publish practical, source-backed articles and maintain the most complete public directory of farmers markets, CSAs, and U-pick farms in America.

Our editorial standards

Every directory listing is sourced from public USDA data and refreshed weekly. We don't make up names, places, or statistics. When a fact needs verification, we say so.

Articles are bylined as The Farm.House Editors — our editorial team. As we grow, you'll see individual contributor bios appear with real names, real backgrounds, and real credentials. We don't invent personas.

Some of our links are affiliate links — we earn a small commission when you book a farm stay through HipCamp or buy seeds through one of our partners. It costs you nothing extra and helps us keep the directory free.
